Choc and Peanut Butter Cake

Like i said this is a non bake cake. It is very easy to prepare. I came across with this recipe while i was surfing for frosting recipe. I tried this cos basically i have all the ingredients at home and was bored haha. This is the original recipe :

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk plus 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup instant or quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 cocoa powder (sifted)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Procedure:


  1. Mix all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  2. Boil for one minute over 350 degrees F.
  3. Drop spoon fulls of mixture on lined cookie sheets.
  4. Refrigerate for about 2 hours.
  5. Serve with milk.
For me, i changed a bit of the ingredients. i used only one and a quarter cups of sugar but it is still sweet for my liking. i used 1/4 cup of evaporated milk as well instead of water. i used 1 cup of cocoa powder instead of half. 3/4 cups of oats just to make it harder a bit. If u dont like peanut butter u can reduce the amount or changed it to choc spread instead.
